Construction of the £200+ million Immingham Eastern Ro-Ro Terminal, a joint investment between Associated British Ports and Stena Line, has commenced marine works with contractor Dragados, marked by Maritime Minister Keir Mather signing a marine pile on site. The project will create approximately 700 construction jobs and 200 permanent operational jobs, targeting completion by May 2028 to accommodate larger, more sustainable Ro-Ro vessels and strengthen UK–Europe freight connectivity.
