The USACE is working toward a target of using up to 70 percent of navigational dredged material beneficially by 2030, as described in an article coauthored by Anchor QEA experts in the latest WEDA Journal of Dredging. The three journal articles address policy and permitting barriers, scaling strategies across USACE programs including earlier coordination and pilot projects, and Texas’s use of a GIS-based decision support system to prioritize coastal restoration with dredged sediment.
