Ørsted is weighing participation in offshore wind tenders in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Taiwan over the next 12 months, CEO Rasmus Errboe said on a results call. Belgium has a 700MW tender this year, Taiwan 3.6GW, a further 2GW in the next Dutch round, and Germany's 2.5GW North Sea auction is planned for next year. Errboe said upcoming CfD frameworks show "healthy convergence" and that the bid strategy follows an 18-month restructuring focused on offshore wind and core European and select Asia-Pacific markets.
It follows the same-day earnings call reported earlier and Errboe's welcome of German offshore CfDs.
