Jan De Nul's CLV Willem de Vlamingh pulled the two high-voltage export cables into the offshore substation, while CDWE — the DEME-CSBC joint venture — completed transport and installation of the 99 pin piles and the substation foundation and topside ahead of schedule using the Green Jade. The combined substation foundation and topside exceeds 8,000 tonnes, the largest installed in Taiwan to date. CDWE now moves to transport and install the 33 jacket foundations, manufactured locally by Century Wind Power, for the Vestas V236-15.0 MW turbines. Van Oord holds the inter-array cable scope.
Context
This follows the July 13 delivery of first jacket foundations and late-July completion of the offshore substation topside and jacket by PTSC M&C and Semco Maritime.
