Five projects totalling 1,786 MW were selected from 3,656 MW bid across nine projects, giving the auction a 2:1 competition ratio for the first time. Copenhagen Offshore Partners’ 504 MW Haesong 3, B.Grimm’s 340 MW Hanbit, and Hanwha/SK’s 250 MW Guupdo succeeded in the general fixed‑bottom segment alongside the public‑led 160 MW Geumodo scheme, while the 532 MW Haewoori 2 floating project by Copenhagen Offshore Partners and SK Group was also chosen. The fixed‑bottom share of 1,254 MW exceeded the previous year’s whole‑year selection of 689 MW, and the floating award resumed a segment absent in the last auction, all achieved under a ceiling price about 3 % lower than the prior year; successful bidders committed plans to use domestic supply chains for substructures, cables, installation and operations, with the government pledging stronger post‑award monitoring of those commitments.
