Windpiper departed the Port of Rotterdam in early August and is en route to Norway to load 45,500 tonnes of rock before its first subsea rock installation campaign in the Polish sector of the Baltic Sea. The vessel will fill its two rock holds at a Norwegian quarry, with the work most likely bound for the 1.2 GW Baltic Power offshore wind farm, though Boskalis has not named the project.
The departure was already confirmed in early August reports, which placed Windpiper's Rotterdam sailing on 3 August 2026 ahead of the same Baltic Power campaign.
