Curtin Maritime wins $31.5m Port of Baltimore dredging contract

Curtin Maritime won the $31.52m firm-fixed-price maintenance dredging contract at the Port of Baltimore, awarded by USACE Baltimore District.

• 2.25 million cubic yards (1.72 million m³) from federal navigation channels
• Completion estimated March 31, 2027; work from November 2026, ~120 calendar days
• 1.538 million yd³ to Poplar Island; 700,000 yd³ to Cox Creek Dredged Material Containment Facility
• Clamshell/bucket dredgers, 50 ft depth at MLLW with 1–2 ft overdepth

Solicitation drew three bids; total base-and-options value is $31,671,146.59.
