Barclays is acquiring the UK business of GoHenry from US fintech Acorns for an undisclosed price, with completion expected in 2027. GoHenry provides prepaid debit cards with parental controls and a money management app for 6- to 18-year-olds, serving roughly 500,000 children in the UK. The deal follows NatWest’s 2021 purchase of RoosterMoney and comes as Revolut and Monzo have launched competing children’s savings accounts.
