Jan De Nul’s heavy-lift vessel Les Alizés installed the final of 54 monopiles, having transported the foundations from the Port of Leith since December 2025. Fabricated by CWHI and Dajin Heavy Industry, each monopile measures up to 11.5 metres in diameter, 102 metres in length, and weighs around 2,300 tonnes. The project will deploy 72 Vestas V236-15.0 MW turbines on these monopiles and 18 jacket foundations with pin piles, targeting first power in late 2026 and full commercial operation in 2027.
