Seafarer killed in latest Hormuz strike
The 76,801 dwt, Liberia-flagged panamax Minoan Dignity was struck by an unknown projectile yesterday evening while transiting about five nautical miles off Oman, according to maritime security specialist Vanguard Tech. The projectile hit the engine room and killed the chief engineer. Two helicopter evacuation attempts failed, and the Omani Coast Guard is expected to assist the rescue.
